Mississippi is home to 13 private and eight public colleges and universities. Each year, more than 120,000 students pursue a wide range of disciplines in Mississippi institutions of higher learning.

Holmes Community College in Ridgeland

Holmes Community College, Ridgeland Campus, serves nearly 3,000 students and is part of the second largest community college district in the state. The Ridgeland campus continues to attract growing numbers of students—over the last five years, student enrollment at the Ridgeland campus has increased 69%.

The college provides a wide array of academic and vocational/technical programs and serves as continuing education and cultural activities center. Degree programs and frequently updated career training classes are planned to meet the demands of the community and area employers. Some of the degree programs are listed below:
