Doug Jones is originally from West, Point, Alabama where he graduated from West Point High School. After moving to Memphis, Mr.Jones attended Memphis State University majoring in Business Management. He worked for Kraft Foods for 32 years in sales marketing, technology, and management. After an early retirement, he worked as a consultant in marketing with cheese companies for two years.
He moved to Rankin County in 1974 and then to Madison County in 1996. He served as a President of the Madison County Board of Supervisors and was on the Board for four years. After his service to Madison County in 2008, he became the Business Manager for the Lake Caroline Owners Association where he is currently employed.
He is married to Judy Jones and they have two children, Keith Jones and Sarah Skelton, and four grandchildren.
His hobbies are Alabama football and tinkering with antique cars.
