The Honorable Phil Bryant, Governor of Mississippi, will be the keynote speaker. The focus of his presentation will be “Madison County as a Health Care Technology Industry Leader.” In 2012, Governor Bryant signed into law the Mississippi Health Care Industry Zone Act (House Bill 1537) known as the Mississippi Health Care Industry Zone Incentive Program, to encourage health care-related businesses to locate or expand within a qualified Health Care Zone in the state. Madison County applauds Governor Bryant and the Mississippi Legislature for making the collaboratory possible through their leadership and passage of HB 1537.
The VISIONS Award and the VISIONARY Leadership Award will be presented at the event. The awards were conceived in 2010 as a means of recognizing and thanking outstanding Madison County businesses and leaders for their contributions to the community.
